Queens' family friendly atmosphere is perfect for people at all stages of life. There are many different types of housing available in Queens County and several new developments are in progress.  Whether you are looking for that idyllic spot on the ocean or a traditional homestead acreage, Queens County has it all and everything in between. Each community in Queens has its own identity that is reflected in their landscapes, their people, the local arts and crafts and the shops and restaurants.

The pristine beaches of Queens County are known far and wide for their white sands, rocky shores and great surfing conditions. Offering a shoreline of great contrasts, you can walk along a deserted beach (at any time of the year) or you can go to one of the more popular spots where you can join a volleyball game, build a sandcastle, surf, or commune with the other sun worshippers. Both White Point Beach Resort and Quarterdeck Beachside Villas and Grill are only a short coastal drive from the town of Liverpool.

Looking for more adventure? Queens County is also home to Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site. Paddle, walk, bike, camp, and hike the trails through dense shrubs on your way to the coast to experience pristine white sand beaches, turquoise waters, coastal bogs, abundant wildflowers, rich lagoon systems, and coastal wildlife.
